T&T women's team volleyballer Kelly-Anne Billingy notched 16 points to help Valencianas de Juncos defeat Criollas de Caguas in four sets in the Puerto Rico Volleyball Federation 42nd Women's Super League on Saturday night. Juncos ended a string of four straight losses with a 25-21, 25-17, 23-25 score.
Rayma Robles, Erica Lott and Carol Rodriguez chipped in with seven, six and five points respectively for Juncos which remained in the four-way tie for last spot on the ten-team table with Caguas, Guaynabo and Corozal.
At the top of the standings is Lancheras Catano with an impressive record of five straight victories, just ahead of Llaneras de Toa Baja, which has lost only once from six matches. Juncos suffered a 22-25, 21-25, 25-19, 19-25 loss on Thursday to Los Gigantes de Corolina and went under on Tuesday to Leonas de Ponce 16-25, 23-25, 16-25 with the trio of Billingy, Wing and Gonzalez scoring seven points each.
