National women's volleyballer Kelly-Anne Billingy had another solid match as Valencianas de Juncos overcame Caguas in five sets in the Puerto Rico Volleyball Federation 42nd Women's Super League on Saturday night. Boosted by its five set win over Indias de Mayaguez on Thursday night in which Billingy scored 18 points, Juncos came from two sets down to stop Caguas 23-25, 25-27, 25-13, 28-26, 15-12 with Kelly Wing registering a match high 28 points while Billingy added 21, and Erica Lott 16.
It was also a season-high second straight win for Juncos to improve its records to 4-7, and eight on the ten-team standings. For Caguas, which stayed bottom of the table with nine defeats in 13 matches, Shonda Cole led with 24 points, Stephanie Enright got 17 and Yarimer Rosa and Alexander Oquendo both contributed 14 points.
At the top of the standings is Toa Baja (10-1) followed by Catano (8-3) while Mayaguez (7-4), Ponce (6-5), Carolina (5-6), Bayamon (4-6) and Guaynabo (4�7).
