T&T's Kel­ly-Anne Billingy and her Va­len­cianas de Jun­cos team-mates con­tin­ued their last push for a quar­ter­fi­nal spot in the Puer­to Ri­co Vol­ley­ball Fed­er­a­tion 42nd Women's Su­per League with a third straight win on Tues­day night. Led by Kel­ly Wing's 14 points and ten from Er­i­ca Lott, Jun­cos brushed aside Los Gi­gantes Car­oli­na 25-18, 25-16, 25-23 to im­prove its over­all record to five wins from 12 match­es, the same as its op­po­nents, who are fifth on the ta­ble.

Billingy, com­ing off of 21 and 18-point per­for­mances in two pre­vi­ous vic­to­ries had nine points this time out, the same as Sol Gon­za­lez, to com­plete a bal­ance at­tack for 2004 cham­pi­ons, Jun­cos, who re­turn to ac­tion tonight against Guayn­abo. On the op­po­site side of the net, Jes­si­ca Jones top­scored for Car­oli­na with 13 points, Lil­ly De­noon got ten, Ta­tiana En­car­na­cion, sev­en, and Katie Olsovsky, five.

In oth­er match­es played on Tues­day night, ta­ble lead­ers Toa Ba­ja (12-1) slipped past Guayn­abo (4-9), 3-2; Mayaguez (9-4) blanked Corozal (5-8), 3-0 and Caguas (5-9) whipped Baya­mon (4-8), 3-1. Third placed Catano has a record of nine wins from 13 match­es while Ponce, the oth­er team not in ac­tion on Tues­day night is fourth with six wins, and six de­feats on the ten-tean ta­ble. At the end of 18 match­es, the top eight clubs will qual­i­fy for the quar­ter­fi­nals
