Terry Fenwick, coach of Digicel Pro League club, San Juan Jabloteh is amazed the draw for the 2010/2011 Concacaf Champions League preliminary round and group stages was made with his club still awaiting a protest decision. The draw for the tournament was made on Wednesday at Concacaf's head office in New York and Jabloteh was pitted against the Mexican Clausura runner-up either Santos or Toluca on July 27-29 in the first-leg and seven days later in their second-leg clash. The winner of tie will then advance to a Group B four-team group stage home-and-away series with Columbus Crew (USA), Municipal (Guatemala) and the winner of fellow Pro League club and bitter-rival, bmobile Joe Public/Costa Rican champions, Brujas FC tie. But reached for comment on the draw, a bewildered Fenwick said he had a problem with a few situations. "I'm not really concern with which Mexican team we have to face at the moment because for us it's really quite uncertain what's taking place. "Earlier in the tournament we were told that the top three teams from CFU would qualify automatically for the group stages. "Now there has been another change and we were placed in the preliminary round draw." "We've also got an appeal against Joe Public for the use of Radanfah Abu Bakr in our head-to-head match before the CFU Appeals Committee and yet a draw was made. "We have nothing against Joe Public as a club but it's just that the rules and guidelines of CFU are there to be followed. "Abu Bakr was red carded in his previous match and should not have played in our match. So we are still awaiting the outcome of that appeal. Following their 1-0 defeat to Joe Public on May 5 in their CFU Final Round match Jabloteh lodged a formal protest to CFU with regards to Abu Bakr's appearance in their match after he was red carded in his previous match a second round battle with System 3 of St Vincent. In their protes, Jabloteh pointed to the tournament rules which said players or team officials suspended shall serve their suspension during the following match of the CFU Club Champions Cup, be it in the current edition or any future edition of the tournament or any tournament which may, by virtue of its purpose, substitute the CFU Champions Cup.
