UNC can­di­date for Char­lieville Fe­li­cia Isa­hak was booed last night as she spoke on her par­ty's plat­form in Fe­lic­i­ty.

Isa­hak was in­tro­duced by chair­man Manohar Ram­saran and be­gan to speak when a sec­tion of the crowd start­ed to boo her. Health Min­is­ter Therese Bap­tiste-Cor­nelis, who was on stage came up to the mi­cro­phone and said: "We heard you, now shut up."

Some in the crowd de­mand­ed an apol­o­gy, but she went back to her seat. She lat­er apol­o­gised for her state­ment.
