An electrical malfunction has forced the closure of the Jordan Hill Presbyterian primary school in Princes Town.
For a fourth consecutive day today, scores of parents had to take their children back home as school officials closed off sections of the school.
Parent Nadira Deokaran-Sooknanan said she was fed up.
"I have to work in St Joseph, and today when I dropped my son off they told me that the school is closed," Deokaran-Sooknanan said.
The school's library, infant department and the principal's office were outfitted with air conditioning units, she said.
"They told us that the electrical circuits were overloaded, and until this is fixed only Standard Four pupils are allowed in school," she said.
Another parent Navindra Narine said the electrical malfunction must be fixed immediately as students and staff could face serious risk in the event of a fire.
Officers of the Ministry of Education Facilities Company visited the school yesterday to discuss the problem.
