Caribbean Airlines and the T&T Airline Pilots' Association (TTALPA) say they have reached agreement on the main terms and conditions of a collective agreement for the period September 1, 2010, to August 31, 2015.The agreement covers several key areas aligned to the mutual interests and benefit of the two sides.
CAL said in a media release: "This interest based negotiation approach taken by the teams created a respectful platform from which to identify common ground.CAL CEO0 Michael DiLollo thanked the TTALPA representatives and the airline's executive team for the levels of leadership, maturity and professionalism shown; which were critical to this successful outcome.
"The transformation of Caribbean Airlines requires consistent collaboration with key stakeholders, to improve productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness. I am also heartened that CAL and TTALPA have also reached agreement on major elements of the next collective agreement period; 2015 to 2018."
