Mo­torists will be al­lowed to use the Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route to­day. An of­fi­cial from the Min­istry of Works and In­fra­struc­ture con­firmed yes­ter­day that the Bus Route will be opened to the gen­er­al pub­lic dur­ing the two days of Car­ni­val to al­low for a smoother flow of traf­fic out of Port-of-Spain.Usu­al­ly, on­ly spe­cial­ly au­tho­rised ve­hi­cles can use the Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route. How­ev­er, the tem­po­rary lift on re­stric­tions which came in­to ef­fect mid­night Car­ni­val Mon­day will re­main in force un­til 3 am on Ash Wednes­day.
