National Security Minister Jack Warner will make a statement about crime in Parliament tomorrow. He said so when he and members of his Chaguanas West constituency executive took a break from politics Friday night and visited Movie Towne, Chaguanas, to see the Indian movie Jab Tak Hain Jaan.
Warner said the last time he visited a cinema was 40-odd years ago in the late 1960s to see the western classic The Good The Bad and The Ugly. After the movie, Warner said the next time he visits the cinema again may be in 2053.
Warner said after he makes his statement to the Lower House, those who want to see crime go up "will shut up". He said crime remains on the front burner and his battle against the criminal elements is not playing second fiddle to the upcoming THA elections. Warner said the TOP had helped to remove the "white Calder Hart" from T&T in the last elections and it was time to help the TOP remove the "black Calder Hart" from Tobago.
