The Min­istry of Le­gal Af­fairs says its Web site pos­es no re­al threat to users, de­spite a mal­ware warn­ing. A mal­ware alert say­ing "This site may harm your com­put­er" could be seen when at­tempt­ing to ac­cess the site. A press re­lease from the min­istry's cor­po­rate com­mu­ni­ca­tions unit said the mal­ware alerts were due to some "ir­reg­u­lar files" which were de­tect­ed au­to­mat­i­cal­ly by Web browsers through a scan­ning process.

The press re­lease said the min­istry had fixed these prob­lem files and no­ti­fied the Web browsers. "Dur­ing their next scan of our site, they will dis­cov­er all threats have been re­moved and, con­se­quent­ly, the alert will cease." Un­til the web browsers make an­oth­er scan of the site to en­sure it is safe, the min­istry is work­ing on a so­lu­tion which would al­low in­ter­net users to ac­cess the site as usu­al.
