T&T's fourth FI­BA-li­censed ref­er­ee will be named to­mor­row, when the Na­tion­al Bas­ket­ball Fed­er­a­tion of T&T (NBFTT) hosts a cer­ti­fi­ca­tion func­tion at the VIP Room of the Hase­ly Craw­ford Sta­di­um, Mu­cu­rapo, from 6 pm.

Nathaniel Charles is the can­di­date set to re­ceive the pres­ti­gious cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, while 35 oth­er ref­er­ees and ta­ble of­fi­cials will be grant­ed ABOTT li­cens­es over com­pe­tence lev­els of A, B and C.

The NBFTT re­cent­ly con­clud­ed a FI­BA Lev­el Two coach­es train­ing cours­es and 37 par­tic­i­pants were suc­cess­ful in at­tain­ing cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. These coach­es are al­so set to re­ceive their ac­knowl­edge­ment at the func­tion.

The NBFTT, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Sport Com­pa­ny of T&T, backed by a man­date by the lat­ter to im­pose reg­u­la­tions by coach­es, were re­spon­si­ble for the ven­ture.Re­cent­ly ap­point­ed pres­i­dent of the T&T Olympic Com­mit­tee (TTOC) Bri­an Lewis will de­liv­er the fea­ture ad­dress at the func­tion.
