This is a sig­nif­i­cant break­through for the com­pa­ny since Cu­ba has a pop­u­la­tion of 11 mil­lion, a du­ty-free agree­ment with Cari­com and no com­pet­i­tive Amer­i­can brands on the mar­ket.

Founder and man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Sacha Cos­met­ics Ltd, Ka­ma Ma­haraj re­cent­ly at­tend­ed the Ha­vana Fair and signed the agree­ment in the pres­ence of T&T's Am­bas­sador in Cu­ba, Dr Jen­nifer Jones-Ker­na­han, man­ag­er of the Cu­ba Trade fa­cil­i­ta­tion Of­fice, Jude Caras­quero and pres­i­dent of the Cu­ba Cham­ber of Com­merce, Celia Lab­o­ra.Sacha was the of­fi­cial cos­met­ics of the 1999 Miss Uni­verse pageant and the 2000 and 2001 Miss USA pageants.
