Val­trin Foot­ball Club went with­in two points of San­ta Rosa in sec­ond po­si­tion, with one match-day re­main­ing in the Emer­ald Apart­ments and Plaza East­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (EFA) Pre­mier Di­vi­sion, fol­low­ing a vi­tal 1-0 win over Joe Pub­lic, on Thurs­day. Ke­ston Hen­ry scored the on­ly goal of the en­counter just be­fore the hour-mark, keep­ing Val­trin in con­tention for the ti­tle, while giv­ing his team all to play for in the fi­nal round of match­es which kicks off to­day. Val­trin will be faced in a ti­tle de­cider against FC San­ta Rosa at home at the NUGFW, Val­sayn from 5pm, with San­ta Rosa re­quir­ing a soli­tary point to seal top spot, and a place in the Cham­pi­ons of Cham­pi­ons com­pe­ti­tion which kicks off in March. Val­trin, mean­while, will need all three points to leapfrog San­ta Rosa to go top.
