An­nellese Rose, Ke­neel Teas­dale, Bre­ana Stampfli, Yoland Lecock and team cap­tain Beaver­ly Cor­by are set to leave T&T to­day and trav­el to Ft Laud­erdale in prepa­ra­tion for the up com­ing Fed Cup in Guadala­jara Mex­i­co. The team will spend three days in Mex­i­co where they will un­der­go train­ing and prac­tice match­es, they will then trav­el to Mex­i­co three days ahead of the tour­na­ment to get cli­ma­tised to the high al­ti­tude. T&T is set to face the likes of Chilean An­drea Koch-Ben­venu­to and Mex­i­can Laila Ab­dala. An­nu­alise Rose 31 will be lead­ing T&T with ex­pe­ri­ence of 34 wins and 20 loss­es in the Fed cup .Team Cap­tain Bev­er­ly Cor­by who has al­so rep­re­sent­ed T&T at the Fed Cup win­ning eight and los­ing 12 said that the main goal of the team is to do well : "Our main goal girls like Bre­ana is tour­na­ment ready ,Yoland plays away as well as An­nellese. An­nellese is 31 and Yoland is 22 Ke­neel is 19 and Bre­ana is 16 so we have both youth and ex­pe­ri­ence on our side." St Joseph stu­dent Bre­ana Stampfli who re­cent­ly com­pet­ed in both Bar­ba­dos ITF (In­ter­na­tion­al Ten­nis Fed­er­a­tion) and the Dig­i­cel ITF said she is ex­cit­ed to com­pete in the up com­ing tour­na­ment "I am look­ing for­ward to it al­though I am a bit tired af­ter com­pet­ing in two back to back tour­na­ments but I am look­ing for­ward to it. Stampfli who won her match­es last year but did ad­vance said she be­lieves the team has a bet­ter chance "I think we have a much bet­ter chance than last year to ad­vance with the team we have."
