Dominic Hadeed has been re-elected to serve as president of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers' Association (TTMA) for a second term. He was re-elected at the association's 56th annual general meeting, which took place at the Hyatt Regency on May 8.
A news release yesterday from the TTMA quoted Hadeed as saying that the association would continue to lobby the Government to develop initiatives to assist manufacturers to sustain market share locally and regionally, to develop innovative capacity and ensure economic survival.
He also said, "Our resolve to make the manufacturing sector more dynamic and more innovative is unwavering, and it is increasingly important that the sector plays a pivotal role in stimulating economic recovery, and in achieving balanced and sustainable future economic growth." The TTMA also elected a new board of directors at the meeting.
