WILLIAMS- SMITH: FRAN­CIS Thomas 'FT' passed away on Wednes­day, 4TH Ju­ly, 2012 at the age of 97. Beloved hus­band of 72 years of Anes­ta 'Babes' n&ea­cute;e Ben­to. De­vot­ed fa­ther of Mar­jorie, Ros­alie, Bet­ty, Glen, Fran­cis Jr. and David; fa­ther-in-Law of Ian Bain, Dr. Jill Robert­son Williams-Smith and Mireille Williams-Smith. Well-loved Grand­fa­ther of Rachel and Alexan­der Gre­gor-Smith; Dante, Alessan­dro, and Daniel­la Berlin­geri; Be­lin­da, Bian­ca and Bjorn Bain; Gra­ham and Ja­nine Jervis; Joanne and Eliz­a­beth Williams-Smith; and James Robert­son; and adored Great- Grand­fa­ther of Eli­jah, Es­ther, Lan­na, Nico, Gi­an­fran­co, Ma­lik, Adri­ano and An­na­lia. Broth­er of Mar­jorie 'Sis', John 'Bud­dy', Louis 'Chenk' and David 'Ba­ba', all de­ceased; revered un­cle of Ronald Ben­to. He was a Civ­il Ser­vant of many years in Au­dit, Cus­toms and Ex­cise, and as Gen­er­al Man­ag­er, Cen­tral Wa­ter Dis­tri­b­u­tion Au­thor­i­ty. On re­tire­ment he pur­sued a suc­cess­ful ca­reer as a Bar­ris­ter-at-Law for 33 years. He was a com­mit­ted Ma­son, was award­ed "Grand Rank" as Hon­orary Grand Sword Bear­er, was Past Mas­ter of Lodge Unit­ed Broth­ers No 251 S.C., and a Foun­da­tion Past Mas­ter of Lodge Roy­alian 1605 SC. Fu­ner­al ser­vices will be held on Mon­day 9TH Ju­ly, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Ro­man Catholic Church, St Ann's Av­enue, St. Ann's, with in­ter­ment at Lapey­rouse Ceme­tery.
