The Leo John Islandwide Over-40 cricket competition enters its 14th year encouraging the more mature players to continue enjoying playing the game and keeping their arms and legs in fair condition. This year, competition begins on August 18 and clubs wishing to take part in the 25-over affair are required to register by July 31.
Preysal will be defending their 2011 championship and efforts are being made to have a Tobago team compete.
Captains or co-ordinators are advised to contact the secretary or a member of the executive management of the competition for further information. All relevant documentation is available at Bert's Sports Centre. There are plans afoot to take a Leo John representative team to either Guyana or Grenada in an effort to develop goodwill in the region.
