A 28-year-old sol­dier is ex­pect­ed to ap­pear be­fore a Port-of-Spain mag­is­trate to­day to an­swer charges of in­de­cent and crim­i­nal as­sault. He was ar­rest­ed by of­fi­cers of the Besson Street CID at Camp Og­den, Long Cir­cu­lar Road, St James. Po­lice said around 12.30 pm on Sat­ur­day, the solid­er went to the home of his for­mer girl­friend in Laven­tille, where it is al­leged he placed his ser­vice re­volver to her head, held her down and kissed her neck. The woman then re­port­ed the mat­ter.
