A lot has been happening in the world of Hollywood entertainment these past couple of weeks. A notable story that peaks the entertainment news is the Trinidadian blow out that Mariah Carey received from rap artiste Nicki Minaj. The incident occurred on the set of American Idol where these two divas randomly started biting at each other's necks. While Ryan Seacrest was quick with the crisis management stating that these two girls are from different spheres in the entertainment industry and would own up to a different opinion, there seem to be much more than just simply that. The insults were very personal and according to TMZ.com Nicki Minaj referred to Mariah as "her highness" and Mariah called Nicki a "gangster". As you can see, these are quite personal attacks on their demeanours. While no one in her right mind would contest a hot blooded Trinidadian, it seems that most of the foul words did come from Nicki's mouth. While some may be disappointed, or in some cases glad that Nicki can fight her own battles, the ending result did not reflect well on both artistes.
I think this shows that these two individuals are humans and like any other working organisation, disputes can occur. However the argument still stands - was this a personal or a professional attack? The video that TMZ released is not clearly audible; however the tension of the situation seems to seep through your screen. Nicki clearly had these words for Mariah a very long time ago. On the other sphere of entertainment news, there is a video on YouTube with over 9 million views. This video does not boasts of talent extreme, nor does it boast of a new catchy song from Korea (OPPAN GANGNAM STYLE ). This video is of Justin Bieber blowing chunks live on stage for the opening of one of his concerts -_- . I cannot believe this 12-second video is getting so much attention. I swear the next time that I am sick I am going to set up a camera, record a video, upload to YouTube and ensure that its 13 seconds long, to guarantee its success!
Apparently the beebs had a little too much milk to drink (Well he is like, five... what else would he drink?). The milk coupled with stage nerves made his stomach very upset. I am so surprised that no one scooped up the chunks for sale online. Honestly, things like that would not surprise me given the immense popularity of Justin Bieber these days. I am not about to pretend that Justin Bieber doesn't have weirdo stalkers. Well that's about the hottest topics in entertainment this past couple of weeks. Let's see what the next couple of weeks have for me to comment on. Please oh please let someone's weave fall off! Now that would just make a great story now wouldn't it? :D
