Defending champion Caribs, ended its run in the T&T Rugby Football Union (T&TRFU) Toyota Championship division Sunday, on a high, following an easy 74-14 win over Police, which put the "Beer Boys" on top of the standings, with a three-point advantage over second-placed Harvard.
Fate is now out of the hands of Caribs which completed its roster, while Harvard remains with one match to play. After winning the TTRFU Marcus Minshall Knockout Cup for the first time on Saturday, Harvard now has a chance to seal another first in its history, when it takes on Royalians in the Toyota Championship. Anything less than a win will see Caribs take the league trophy yet again.
Harvard has already secured victory on two occasions against Royalians this season, once in the league and the other in the Marcus Minshall semifinal.
