Blink/bmobile both part of the Divali Nagar celebrations in Chaguanas for over ten years has reinforced the company's dedication to the enhancement of culture in proudly accepting the role as title sponsor for 2012 programme.
In her address at the opening night's ceremony, Dianna de Sousa, chief executive officer (Ag.) indicated Blink/bmobile is committed to the preservation of our local traditions. "As a people we should continue to strive for a society filled with various religions and cultures. This enhances our spiritual wealth and adds greater significance to our lives as a community. Support for initiatives like Divali Nagar ensures that blink / bmobile plays its part in supporting the nation's melting pot for cultural diversity," de Sousa said.
Divali Nagar is organised by the National Council of Indian Culture (NCIC) and officially opened its gates to the nine-day celebration on November 4 with the support of Blink/bmobile ushering guests in. It officially ended last night, the night before the festival of lights in the same style. The Nagar usually draws participation of thousands of Trinbagonians each year, Hindus and non-Hindus alike.
In order to ensure that the 2012 visitors to the Divali Nagar are treated to positive experiences, Blink/bmobile had also set up a booth at the festival village offering exciting product promotions specially designed for the occasion. Visitors were invited to enjoy the richness of the Nagar and comfortably ensure that their technological needs are also met.
Blink/bmobile has also extended congratulations to the National Council of Indian Culture for consistent success in hosting Divali Nagar saying the event continues to bring the nation together to celebrate an important occasion for the Hindu community.
