The snowstorm currently lashing through the northeast of the United States is not expected to cause the cancellation of any Caribbean Airlines (CAL)?flights. Clint Williams, communications manager at CAL, said the airline was taking a look at the weather patterns but did not expect any cancellations or delays to result.
"At this time flights are not affected and we do not expect any changes," Williams said. "All of today's flights were normal." Canadian news reports indicated that thousands of travellers in that country were affected as hundreds of flights had been cancelled or delayed. The storm, which began in the US on Thursday, has been blamed for 15 deaths.
