Neil Ramsammy scored a goal on either side of the interval, as Carib halted Notre Dame's winning streak with an entertaining 2–2 draw in the T&T Hockey Board Mixed Veterans Division at the National Hockey Centre, Tacarigua on Sunday. The "Brewery Stickmen", with a point from their first two matches, took a surprise lead four minutes before the interval when Ramsammy got his first of the contest. Four minutes into the second-half, former national defender Kenneth Whiteman got the Dames level and in the 55th minute Sean Olton put them ahead.
However, with five minutes left in the match, Ramsammy fired in his second to earn his club a share of the points. The Dames still lead the table with seven points from three matches while Queen's Park is next with maximum six points followed by Carib and Fatima. In the Trinity Women's Division, there were victories for Notre Dame, Shandy Carib Magnolias and Ventures. Kayla Brathwaite netted in the 61st minute for the Dames to edge Harvard Maritime Checkers 1–0 and Melissa Pascal's 22nd minute strike also sealed a 1–0 victory for Ventures over Police, as both teams share the lead with six points from two matches.
Brittany Navarro got two and Gayle-Ann Nieves and Kelly Young got one each for Magnolias in their 4–0 blanking of Paragon. In the day's opening match, Brianna Govia, the daughter of Nieves scored twice to lead Magnolias past Paragon 2–1. Govia fired Magnolias ahead in the 12th minute but Zene Henry got Paragon level in the 49th minute. But with six minutes left in the match, Govia breached the Paragon defence again to snatch the winner.
