Va­len­cia Heat joins Mu­cu­rapo Sec­ondary as the two Big-Four qual­i­fiers from Group A af­ter it de­feat­ed Bel­mont Off Lim­its 50-36 on the fifth day of the Su­per 10 Bas­ket­ball League (SBL) East­er Hoops Clas­sic played at the Jean Pierre Com­plex in Mu­cu­rapo.The all im­por­tant clash was the fourth match of Fri­day's pro­gramme in which the win­ner was guar­an­teed a spot in the fi­nal four.

For Va­len­cia Heat which lost its open­ing match to Mu­cu­rapo on Mon­day, the first day of the tour­na­ment, was paced by for­ward Javon Castil­lo, who scored 15 points and cen­tre Christo­pher Jonas with 11.For­ward Matthew Shep­pard led Bel­mont Off Lim­its with a match-high 18 points and team-mate Jerome Lin­dow sup­port­ed with 11.In the girls di­vi­sion, Diego Mar­tin All Star de­feat­ed Bri­an Chase Acad­e­my 38-18 be­hind a tour­na­ment-high of 22 points from team cap­tain Ani­ka Not­ting­ham, while Shani­ka Phillip net­ted sev­en for Bri­an Chase Acad­e­my which led 15-11 at the in­ter­val.
