T&T-born obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Troy Gatcliffe will be the featured speaker at the Baptist Health South Florida International Services hosted lecture on the latest treatments for fibroids and female reproductive cancers.
The lecture will be held on May 6 at the Jetsam Room of the Carlton Savannah Hotel from 5 to 7 pm.
Dr Gatcliffe attended medical school in Dublin, Ireland, at the Royal College of Surgeons. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynaecology at Boston University Medical Centre in 2003 before joining the faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/ Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas as an assistant professor, teaching in the largest residency training programme in the United Sates.
