This special appointment was made by Maharaja Adhiraja RajaRaam (Dr Tony Nader PhD), administrator of the Global Country of World Peace and Raja Luis Alverez, the administrator for the global country of world peace for Latin America, and Raja Graham De Freitas, the Raja for T&T. Raja Graham presented the award to Swami Brahamdeo. The award was in appreciation of Swami Brahamdeo's tireless work of the past years in propagating the Vedic wisdom of India throughout this region, and especially his appreciation and propagation of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM Sidhi programmes, as well as the 40 aspects of Veda in the Human Physiology to the Indian communities. Guests were treated to an electronic display of the effects of the Vedic mantras on the human physiology.
Dr David Lee Sheng Tin, the national director of International Meditation Society, explained that the Vedic mantras when chanted in its proper sequence, metre and intonation produced positive effects on the mind and body. Chanting of Vedic mantras to alleviate certain diseases are now being used by Maharishi's worldwide organisation under a program called Vedic Vibration Therapy. This ancient Vedic technology for promoting health and developing higher states of consciousness was revived by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who guided Maharaja Nader Raam in his discovery of Veda and Vedic Literature in the Human Physiology. The display can be seen at the TM Center at Plaza D Montrose.
