What Panday, Imbert say

Basdeo Panday-former Prime Minister:

"Whether or not he is found guilty, he should not hold both posts at the same time (FIFA vice president and Works and Transport Minister)," Panday said. He said the allegations of bribery against Warner being investigated by FIFA's Ethics Committee might bring T&T's international reputation into disrepute. "It is up to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar to decide, depending on the outcome of FIFA's investigation, whether Warner continues as a government minister, unless he tenders his resignation," Panday said.

Opposition MP Colm Imbert:

"The situation is very serious for Warner," Imbert said. "FIFA must have a strong case against the accused which would lead them to order a forensic investigation." "If found guilty, the Prime Minister will have a serious decision to make," he added.
