Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley needs to focus on the affairs of the PNM rather than that of the People's Partnership, says Housing Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal. The minister, in an interview at the Barrackpore East Secondary School yesterday, said so in response to comments made by Rowley at the Red House on Monday.
Rowley had said Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was leading the People's Partnership titanic to a collision with the citizens of T&T. "But," Moonilal said, "my humble advice to Dr Rowley is that he should really concentrate on his party and the affairs in his party because he is now in a battle with Mr Manning.
"Between two of them, I think they are trying to rearrange the furniture on the upper deck of the Titanic."
Moonilal was the feature speaker at the 2011 graduation ceremony at the school. He urged students to remember the value of a proper education and not to over burden themselves with work.
