Bike Smith Cy­cle Club's Kevin Tin­to clocked a time of 53 min­utes, 15.59 sec­onds to win the Elite 37.5 km Time Tri­al in the third and fi­nal event of the T&T Cy­cling Fed­er­a­tion's Na­tion­al Road Race Se­ries at Waller­field, yes­ter­day. Tin­to, who will turn 27 to­mor­row, edged last Sun­day's 30km win­ner Guy Cos­ta of Raf­mon Mecal­fab (54:06.32) in­to sec­ond place while De­gree Madon­na Wheel­ers' Varun Ma­haraj (54:49.98) claimed the bronze. In oth­er re­sults, Tin­to's club­mate Mark Smith copped the Mas­ters Over 40 25km in 36:18.58, Roger D'Abadie of Corkies Ca­su­als won the Over 50 12.5km in 19:14.76, and Madon­na's Ronald Pe­ters took the Over 60 12.5km in 18:56.41.
