Hennessy, the world's finest cognac, is hosting a unique journey of music, culture and mixability. Hennessy Artistry presents WeMIX Episode 1 of the trilogy on August 20, at the O2 Park in Chaguaramas, from 10 pm. This luxury drinks-inclusive event features various DJs who specialise in different genres of music encompassing blending aspects of what Hennessy artistry represents. The DJs performing on the night are both local and international acts and include Trinidadians Big Daddy-specialising in chutney soca-and High Fidelity-spinning fusion, pop, soca, and trance. Hailing from Jamaica, Stone Love Movement, will play reggae, dancehall and conscious and from the USA for the first time in Trinidad, Young Guru, will spin old school hip hop, and new rap music.
Young Guru is better known for his sound engineering and producing skills and has worked with artistes like Jay Z, Kanye West, and other members of the Roc nation family. A surprise legendary guest DJ will also make an appearance on the night. It's all about the mixing and blending of different cultures, music and Hennessy. The premium event will feature great entertainment with an ambiance that will give an experience like no other. Patrons will enjoy the privilege of tasting other variations of Hennessy such as Pure White and the luxurious VSOP.
Limited advance tickets for this event cost $300 and are available at the following outlets: all Cache and Converse stores and The Naughty Grape on Tragarete Road, Woodbrook. This is the first event of the trilogy series for Hennessy Artistry 2011. Episodes two and three each premise a new concept and artiste line-up. Patrons will also get a sneak peek into episode two of the trilogy series.
