If the SEA ex­am­i­na­tion is to take place as usu­al in March next year, less than six months are left. How­ev­er, the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion an­nounced some time ago the ex­am- ina­tion would be shift­ed to May. At this time no one knows for sure when it will be held and calls to the min­istry on­ly elicit­ed the re­sponse that "it's the min­is­ter's call and he would say."

In the mean­time teach­ers, par­ents and stu­dents are in lim­bo won­der­ing when and how to sched­ule their prepa­ra­tions. Some teach­ers feel it would be in March and are aim­ing to have their stu­dent peak at that time, but they are con­cerned with the pos­si­ble re-sched­ul­ing. Oth­ers are wor­ried that they may be prepar­ing for May and might be caught un­pre­pared. No word has been heard from TTUTA, but I think it's high time a con­firmed date is an­nounced in the in­ter­est of stake­hold­ers.
