If the SEA examination is to take place as usual in March next year, less than six months are left. However, the Ministry of Education announced some time ago the exam- ination would be shifted to May. At this time no one knows for sure when it will be held and calls to the ministry only elicited the response that "it's the minister's call and he would say."
In the meantime teachers, parents and students are in limbo wondering when and how to schedule their preparations. Some teachers feel it would be in March and are aiming to have their student peak at that time, but they are concerned with the possible re-scheduling. Others are worried that they may be preparing for May and might be caught unprepared. No word has been heard from TTUTA, but I think it's high time a confirmed date is announced in the interest of stakeholders.
