Because I have high hopes for Mayor Louis Lee Sing, I want to share my thoughts with him in the hope that he will not disappoint us. Our new Mayor is on the right track by wanting to have control over the operation of his city and the licensed hours for bar operators in St James and the noise levels in Woodbrook. His biggest problem will be vending because the vendors will always present themselves as less fortunate people needing help.
They have been doing this for twenty-five years and the result is a dying city which has a slim chance of revival. Take back Salvatori site as you said your Worship on December 31. Impose opening and closing hours in St James, protect the people of Woodbrook from noise and aggravation and give us back Charlotte Street so that we can start rebuilding our city. We have high hopes for you Mr Mayor. Please do not disappoint us like all the others.
