Other top swimmers listed to compete are Cameron Van Der Burgh (South Africa), Benjamin Starke (Germany), Ross Davenport and Grant Turner of Great Britain. Prior to leaving for South Africa, Bovell III said he was looking forward to the meet to test his progress so far this year against some of the world's best swimmer. "South Africa is swimming powerhouse in the world and they produce some of the top sprinters. "Hopefully, I'm going to be facing some Olympic swimmers like gold medalists Roland Schoeman and Lyndon Ferns along with hot shot Louw. "In terms of setting himself a target at the two-day meet, Bovell III said, "22.3 seconds would be an awesome time for this early in the season in the 50m free, but as long as I am 22.5 or faster I will be happy with it," ended Bovell.
