Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was a no-show at the UNC's Dollar Fete on Saturday. It was just after midnight during the fete that the media was told by party officials that the PM would not be attending to greet the thousands who braved the mud and rain to attend the highly-publicised event held on the grounds of the offices of the Couva South MP on Camden Road.

He left T&T for Zurich.Patrons said they were pleased with the fete and were looking forward to next year's event.
