Nizam opened a Pandora's Box

Thus both the government and opposition politicians (and their respective mouthpieces) are attempting to slaughter Nizam Mohammed as a sacrificial lamb in order to appease the frightened Africans who fear Indian hegemony in the country-and rightly so. And whether there is a basis for this fear or not is beside the point. In politics, perception is reality. And in politics, nothing succeeds but success itself. And the politicians are quite aware of this phenomenon. Thus they have conveniently tossed the ethnic ball into your court, with justification, because the supreme law of the land has cast the onerous burden upon the President of the Republic of removing a member of the Police Service Commission. You are the man (if I may respectfully crave your indulgence to say it this way) who is now in the hot seat. I dare say that Nizam's utterances on the ethnic imbalance in the Police Service at this forum were not sagacious, but is that sufficient cause for his removal? Whatever decision Your Excellency makes must not be based on political expediency, but on the rule of law. This much you owe posterity and your country. May God give you the wisdom, strength and courage to make the right decision. Justice for All
