Digicel Pro League clubs, Clico San Juan Jabloteh and W Connection will have a busy six days ahead as they try and play catch up with the rest of the teams in the league. Both Jabloteh and W Connection who have been in Concacaf Champions League preliminary round qualify matches over the last week will face off in a re-scheduled league match at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Maraballa on Sunday from 5 pm.
Two days later (Tuesday), Jabloteh, the two-time defending league champions and W Connection will be in action again in a double-header at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva. In the opening match from 5pm, W Connection will come up against FC South End while two hours later, Jabloteh tackles St Ann's Rangers. The rest of the clubs in the league are on a one-week break due to T&T's 2010 Concacaf World Cup qualifier against El Salvador at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo on Wednesday from 8 pm.
On Tuesday at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar, Defence Force got a pair of goals from strikers, Devon Jorsling and Kevon Carter to cancel out Kerry Baptiste's hat-trick for bmobile Joe Public ina 4-3 win. Despite the defeat, Joe Public remained top of the table with 28 points from 15 matches, the same as Caledonia but with a superior goal-difference of plus 16. However, Caledonia has a match in hand. Jabloteh is third with 26 points from 12 matches and two matches in hand, followed by Ma Pau with 24 from 15 matches and Defence Force, a further point behind.
