If the citizenry of T&T are not mindful and careful of the day-to-day activities by elements designed to disrupt a "working government structure" that is in place to carry the country forward, then a work in progress is very far off, and in so doing it can impair and damage the status of governance, which is so very vital to the future and welfare of T&T.
Civil disobedience showed its ugly head in the middle of the 1990s during the Basdeo Panday administration, in a UNC-led government. It was a rough experience for the people of T&T and it was hoped that such experiences will never visit us again.
But it seems that our hopes have all gone in vain and civil disobedience is coming back to visit us once more. Oh! What a challenge for Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and his administration.
Civil disobedience is a nightmare and we must be very vigilant as this will further assist in dividing the country.
