Team Drive Phase Sport (DPS), led by cyclist Jude Codrington swept the Keirin event for elite men one, two, three and junior riders on Sunday at the T&T Cycling Federation track league four at the Arima Velodrome.
Competitive cycling took place on Saturday and Sunday, as the track meets were used as qualifiers for the national team for the upcoming Southern Games. The Southern Games will take place from April 5-6.
Trailing Codrington in the keirin final were Team DPS teammates Quincy Alexander and Justin Roberts. In the elite ladies keirin final, Arima Wheelers had its way, claiming the top three spots. Aziza Browne finished first, ahead of Joy Abigail John and Denese Francis.
