National goal-shoot Joelisa Cooper was once again the standout performer as Police upstaged Games Changers 33-28 to reach the final of the Courts All Sectors Netball League Steve Sargeant Challenge Premier Division knockout final.
This was in their semifinal battle at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena, Tacarigua on Saturday.
Cooper ended with 27 goals from 34 attempts for Police which led 2015 at the end of the half, while national captain Rhonda John-Davis chipped in with four from five, and Shivaughn Skeete, two from two.
For Game Changers, national duo, veteran Janelle Barker and Kalifa Mc Collin were impressive as well with 15 from 17 attempts and 13 from 15 respectively, but in the end it was not enough.
Police will have to wait until tomorrow (Tuesday) to know its opponent in the final as the match between UWI and Premier Division league champions Fire Service was postponed.
In the Jean Pierre Challenge Championship Division knockout, Police X and Fire Service reached the final in contrasting style.
Police X first whipped Police Y 39-25 led by Patrice Goring's 26 from 33 attempts in the lone quarterfinal before it spanked Jabloteh 28-19 in the semifinals, with Goring again the main contributor, with 22 from 27.
