Fast-bowler Ravi Ram­paul is prepar­ing for a re­turn to re­gion­al crick­et af­ter a knee in­jury kept him out of T&T's suc­cess­ful Caribbean T20 cam­paign last month.

Ram­paul will line up for the three-time Caribbean T20 cham­pi­ons when they play Cana­da to­day and to­mor­row in the short­est form of the game.

The 28-year-old pac­er was not part of the na­tion­al side which de­feat­ed the vis­i­tors in a three-day match at the Na­tion­al Crick­et Cen­tre (NCC), Bal­main, Cou­va, yes­ter­day.

How­ev­er, Ram­paul was seen at the venue on Mon­day bowl­ing in the out­door nets and man­ag­er Omar Khan con­firmed that he will be part of the T&T squad to face Cana­da.

Ram­paul, a mem­ber of the West In­dies team which won the ICC World T20 in Sri Lan­ka last year, was bought by In­di­an Pre­mier League out­fit Roy­al Charg­ers Ban­ga­lore for US$290,000 for this year's edi­tion of the IPL.

T&T faces Cana­da in the two T20s sched­uled for Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre, to­day and to­mor­row night and the 50-over match at NCC on Sat­ur­day.
