Fast-bowler Ravi Rampaul is preparing for a return to regional cricket after a knee injury kept him out of T&T's successful Caribbean T20 campaign last month.
Rampaul will line up for the three-time Caribbean T20 champions when they play Canada today and tomorrow in the shortest form of the game.
The 28-year-old pacer was not part of the national side which defeated the visitors in a three-day match at the National Cricket Centre (NCC), Balmain, Couva, yesterday.
However, Rampaul was seen at the venue on Monday bowling in the outdoor nets and manager Omar Khan confirmed that he will be part of the T&T squad to face Canada.
Rampaul, a member of the West Indies team which won the ICC World T20 in Sri Lanka last year, was bought by Indian Premier League outfit Royal Chargers Bangalore for US$290,000 for this year's edition of the IPL.
T&T faces Canada in the two T20s scheduled for Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre, today and tomorrow night and the 50-over match at NCC on Saturday.
