Two teenage students from a school in south Trinidad have been charged with indecently assaulting a classmate.A third student from another South school will appear in court today on a charge of trafficking marijuana at school.Around 9 am on Friday, police arrested two Form Two students. The students, both aged 14, were charged with indecent assault.
It is alleged that the students locked a female classmate in a room and fondled her.Both students were expected to appear before a Point Fortin magistrate on Friday to answer the charge. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, police arrested a Form Three student for allegedly trafficking marijuana. The student was arrested after an MTS officer at the school searched the student's book bag and found the marijuana.
The student is expected to appear before a Point Fortin magistrate today to answer the charge.
