Avengers and Georgia registered their first win in 3rd round action of the Tobago Cricket Association League competition played over the weekend.
Newcomers to the league Avengers, playing against Airports Authority at Canaan, were victorious by 6 wickets. Skipper Arnel Jones was outstanding with match figures of 9 for 44. Elsewhere, Georgia after following on were still able to register a comfortable 24 run victory against Charlotteville who for the third time this season ended up on the losing end having won first innings. Damian Ramsey's timely knock of 53, together with fast bowler Selon Joefield's match haul of 9 for 65 were Charlotteville's undoing. Meanwhile, League leaders Sport Elite stretched their lead atop the standings to 19 points after taking first innings points against defending champions C&B United.
