For­ward Fab­rice Fish­er once again rose to the oc­ca­sion when Va­len­cia land­ed the Ari­ma Bas­ket­ball League Knock­out ti­tle in a con­vinc­ing 85-72 drub­bing of La Hor­quet­ta in the fi­nal, on Sun­day night.

The tour­na­ment was played at the Roy­al Princes Bas­ket­ball Court, Ari­ma, with Va­len­cia se­cur­ing a sim­ple win af­ter lead­ing at the end of every pe­ri­od.

La Hor­quet­ta outscored Va­len­cia in the sec­ond and fi­nal quar­ter, but Va­len­cia's 24-point open­ing quar­ter score­line proved to keep the team at a com­fort­able po­si­tion as the match pro­gressed.

Fish­er, who played an al­most flaw­less game a night pri­or in his team's semi­fi­nal win over High Volt­age with 36 points, shone yet again with a 32-point match high, in the fi­nal.

Ivan Williams and Ste­fan Davis both had cred­i­ble per­for­mances with 19 and 16 points, re­spec­tive­ly for the win­ning team, while their team­mate Ken­rick Bernard fin­ish on ten points.

For the run­ners-up, Ronal­do Lett top scored with 14 points, while Dex­ter Morain and Miguel Williams both net­ted 13 points each.

The tour­na­ment was played in mem­o­ry of Earl John, a for­mer long-stand­ing bas­ket­ball ad­min­is­tra­tor from Ari­ma.
