Andy Rodriguez delivered an unbeatable performance at Sunday's National Senior Body Building and Fitness Championship to emerge as Mr T&T held at the Ballroom of the Cascadia Hotel and Conference Centre on Ariapita Road in St Ann's, Port-of-Spain.
The production by the T&T Body Builder and Fitness Federation (TTBBFF) also saw Lisa Fernandes cop the Miss T&T title to earn the right to join Rodriguez in the spotlight.
They both scored convincing victories, however.
Kelton Thomas, Dexter Littrean, Norman Sorzano and Nigel Tenia were Rodriguez's rivals in the masters class, where he put the muscle on them.
He repeated this feat in the men's light heavyweight class (Up to 90KG). Norman Sorzano and Nigel Tenia were his challengers before completing his impressive string of victories at least in at the national level in the men's overall round.
With Monisa Aleong's return to competition in the body-fitness open class, T'Chelle Harris could not repeat her victory at this year's Sport World Classic.
And, for yet another staging of competition, the title eluded fitness guru Fiona Branker.
The audience was visibly uneasy about her third place slotting by the panel of physique and body sculpting adjudicators.
Following the weekend showcase, it would seem that the Mr Physique contest is made for Rocky Kewley. Radio presenter Akenaton (Ken) Simmons challenged him for the title for the second time this year, but the view of the judges Kewley was the better athlete.
Timothy Lewis placed third in this category which was smaller by almost five competitors coming out the junior version of the event, while well-loved and exciting Miss Bikini Open Class was won by Carciea Samuel. She had to fend off opposition from Jamie-Lee Phillips, Abeni Procope and Natasha Ali. This category also fielded a reduced number of entrants when compared to the junior level of the event back in June.
Sunday's competition welcomed new champions. They were Jamaul Sanderson in the men's welter weight class and freelance journalist Cori Baynes in the men's light division.
Meanwhile veterans Shimron Sookermany in the men's light middleweight class (Up to 75KG) and Kelton Thomas in the men's bantam weight (Up to 65KG) crushed their opponents to walk away with top accolades on the night.
