A to­tal of $100,000 will be up for grabs at the Trinidad & To­ba­go Wind­ball Crick­et As­so­ci­a­tion is host­ing 14th An­nu­al Wind­ball Crick­et Com­pe­ti­tion, which bowls off to­day at the Na­tion­al Hock­ey Cen­tre, Tacarigua.Ac­cord­ing to mar­ket­ing man­ag­er of the TTWCA, In­shan Ali, the com­pe­ti­tion runs every Fri­day from 7 pm, Sat­ur­day & Sun­day from 1 pm and will fin­ish on Sat­ur­day, De­cem­ber 7, 2013.

The com­pe­ti­tion is open to the Pub­lic and en­try is free of charge. Ali re­marked: "Mem­bers of the pub­lic are asked to come with their fam­i­lies and friends to see some of their favourite crick­eters in­clud­ing na­tion­al play­ers per­form."Na­tion­al play­ers who have played in the past in­clude Ke­iron Pol­lard, Sunil Nar­ine, Kevon Coop­er, Riyad Em­rit, Lendl Sim­mons, William Perkins, Di­nesh Ramd­hin, Nicholas Pooran, Dwayne & Dar­ren Bra­vo."
