The Ari­ma Race Club's (ARC) 2012 sea­son con­tin­ues at San­ta Rosa Park on Sat­ur­day, with a sev­en race pro­gramme for the fifth day of the 2012 rac­ing sea­son. The fea­ture will be the sixth event on the day's pro­gramme which will pit the speedy Can­dy Man, from the in-form De­r­ick Mosca barn against The Ter­rance Thomas trained Ace of Spades and Stephen Jardim's Mike's Sug­ar. Can­dy Man has been very con­sis­tent in his ca­reer, won last time out and though go­ing up in class, he could take some catch­ing. Mosca has his string tick­ing over and even bur­dened with joint top-weight, he could again walk in­to the win­ner's en­clo­sure. When en­tries were tak­en yes­ter­day a to­tal of 68 hors­es were due to com­pete in the Ari­ma Race Club's sev­en race card. Post time for the first event is 1:30 pm.
