Diego Mar­tin All Stars' women's out­fit strug­gled even more to keep up with its op­po­nent, when the team faced a ruth­less Po­lice, which went on to win its ninth con­sec­u­tive match of the sea­son 84-58 in the Mack­e­son Su­per 10 Bas­ket­ball League Women's Di­vi­sion, on Tues­day night. The trans­for­ma­tion of the Po­lice team saw it win every match since the cam­paign be­gan. In fact, Po­lice won more match­es this year (2011/2012) than for the past three years com­bined. The team now has every in­di­ca­tion of one that can go on to take the women's crown with­out trou­ble.

The score card read sim­i­lar­ly to most of the match­es that Po­lice has played in with the team tak­ing a 21-12 lead at the first hur­dle, and an even wider 47-26 score at the half. The match was all but lost for Diego Mar­tin as they trailed 60-43 head­ing in­to the fi­nal pe­ri­od. Rhon­da John-Davis, who has had an out­stand­ing sea­son to date, poured in 34 points, and grabbed 19 re­bounds, for a tremen­dous dou­ble dou­ble, while Tres­sa Brath­waite added 13 points and four re­bounds. For Diego Mar­tin which con­clud­ed their sea­son with a 3-7 record, their best play­er-Ani­ka Not­ting­ham scored 21 points and three re­bounds.
