Central Zone grabbed the attention as matches continued in the BGTT Inter-Zone cricket tournament. The Central boys defeated Tobago by a whopping 228 runs, as Brian Charles starred with both bat and ball. Central batting first made 281 all out with Brian Charles getting 115 and Justin joseph 62. In reply, Tobago got to 53 all out with Charles returning with the ball to claim five wickets for just nine runs. In other matches, South Zone continued their unbeaten streak with a two-wicket victory over South East. South East taking first strike made 170 for eight off their 50 overs with Daniel Ramkissoon getting 33. South then responded with 173 for eight, as Keron Kanhai, who had grabbed two wickets, when South East batted, returned to score 66. In South's previous game, they defeated a strong North team by 20 runs. Kurrshawn Lewis with an unbeaten 53 had taken South to 160 for eight off 50 overs and despite Camillio Carimbocas getting 71, North still short at 140 all out.
