Police officers have recovered a shotgun and two kilos of compressed marijuana. According to police reports, the discovery was made in an abandoned house around 4.45 pm on Saturday at New Buccoo Road, Tobago. Police said the abandoned house is frequented by questionable characters.
A police source said officers were on foot patrol in the area when they observed a group of men at the house acting suspiciously. The men ran away. Police said arrests were imminent. Inspector Stanley Caruth, Sgt Morrison, Cpl Hernandez, Cpl Thomas and other officers visited the scene. Corporal Hernandez of the Old Grange Police Station is leading investigations.
