Ja­maican Re­nae Tem­ple was vot­ed the women's Most Valu­able Play­er as her Tech­nocrats club dom­i­nat­ed the in­di­vid­ual ac­co­lades while re­tain­ing the third an­nu­al Mark Daly In­vi­ta­tion­al Vol­ley­ball Tour­na­ment tro­phy at the Jean Pierre Com­plex, Mu­cu­rapo on Sun­day night.

In the women's de­cider, Tech­nocrats A de­feat­ed Glam­or­agn 25-17; 25-21; 25-22 for the win­ner-take-all $6,000 first prize. Tem­ple was al­so named Best Spik­er while team­mates Saman­tha Prescott (Best Pass­er and Best Serv­er), An­drea Kin­sale (Best Block­er), and Arielle Folkes (Best Set­ter) shared in the in­di­vid­ual awards. Glam­or­gan's Rechez Lind­say copped the Best De­fend­er and Best Libero tro­phies as well as be­ing named as the Mark Daly Ris­ing Star.

Mean­while, Zenith Vol­ley­ball Club was award­ed the Rus­sell Mck­end Fair Play Award. The re­cent­ly de­ceased McK­end, was a for­mer T&T Vol­ley­ball Fed­er­a­tion vice pres­i­dent, coach and vol­ley­ball en­thu­si­ast. He had in­tro­duced and paved the way for many young ath­letes to the game of vol­ley­ball.
